For Immediate Release: June 16, 2023 – Netherlands-based indie electronic producer, composer and multi instrumentalist Vincent Rooijers aka DROELOE releases his new single “Landscape with Banji” along with announcing his brand-new multi-disciplinary album ‘The Art of Change’ set for release in September 2023. US tour dates commence in the fall in support of the release.
“Landscape”, which follows his previous single “Feeble Games”, is an infectious, feel-good collaboration with Dutch indie 4-piece Banji. It showcases DROELOE’s ability to push the boundaries of genre conventions, blending elements of drum & bass with a thumping indie-pop feel, resulting in a glimmering track with commercial appeal that is sure to resonate with fans across various musical tastes. Marking the start of summer with an invitation to take a look outside our windows and take in the beauty of what surrounds us, “Landscape” is an uplifting reminder that gratitude is something to stay aware of, on any scale.

Alongside this exciting single, DROELOE is thrilled to finally reveal details on his forthcoming album ‘The Art of Change, which is the eagerly anticipated follow-up to ‘A Matter of Perspective.’ ‘The Art of Change’ is Vincent Rooijers’ first full concept album as a solo artist since he parted ways with his former artistic partner Hein Hamers.
‘The Art of Change’ is a highly personal journey through time & place, using a ‘feedback loop’ of recorded voice memos to past and future selves to plot out points on a multi-sensory map of life. Messages from young, old and AI-generated voice actors are interspersed throughout the music on the album, creating stopping places for DROELOE to pause and reflect at key points in time in his life. It’s unequivocally DROELOE at his most vulnerable, fearlessly delving into the depths of his personal experiences and growing through them from heartfelt conversations and poignant journaling.

In the run up to release listeners are invited to follow DROELOE on this journey in a series of fan activations, recording their own messages to themselves by voice memo, tape cassette, or in written form in one of the physical journals DROELOE has launched as merch.
Fans can write a message to themselves via DROELOE’s website which they will have sent back to them in a year, and will have access to a series of written essays by DROELOE which form the philosophical bedrock behind the creation of The Art of Change.
